All those years the AL Central sucked and they played 18 or 19 games. The division gets good and they reduce it to 13…

    Most bizarre scheduling.
    Went MTW last week…..off Thursday…..host STL F-Sa….off Sunday…..@MIN MTW….off Thursday.

The Mets just did three in Anaheim. One in St. Louis. Three in Colorado. Three in Seattle.

    With no off days.

Worth keeping an eye on. He's ticketed to start tomorrow night vs. the Royals.

Angels had that back in June -- MTW vs. Brewers, F-S vs. Dodgers. Off Thursday and Sunday.

It was. Still an absurd trip but at least there was an off-day built in. Of course, in typical Mets fashion, they lost the day before to the dogass Angels and then waxed the Cardinals after flying two time zones east. (Lost the next day to the Rockies, but that's understandable)

I think the weird Sunday off schedule happens when teams play their interleague rivals.

The White Sox had the same thing this weekend, hosting the Cubs Friday and Saturday then (mercifully) off Sunday. It’s because they play them two at home and two away.

Which is stupid. Why waste a Sunday gate?
