This will be the first time the Clay Trumpist klan base will opine about any team other than the Braves or Cardinals.

It's MLB. Come up with the square root of the dumbest idea possible and they'll do it.

It was very weird that on a nice June Sunday, both the Dodgers and Angels were off.

Maybe they had played 20 straight days since the all-star break. That's the longest you can play without a break, according to MLBPA rules.

Flags fly forever. Especially over Wrigley, where they'd better last a long time.

Or schedule the interleague "rivalry" games during the week.

But they changed the schedule next year with interleague "rivalry" games going from four to six with two fewer games against non-division opponents.

Brady Singer is getting absolutely Shawshanked.
For some inexplicable reason, he’s still in the game down 6-2 with runners at the corner in the third. Minnesota batted everyone but Hrbek in the second, and I’m pretty sure he was on deck when he finally got the third out.
As bad as this bullpen is, a bullpen game is the last thing on Earth they need, especially in game 1 of a series.

Oh, great. That Tigers-Pirates rivalry is riveting.
