Here we go with more reports on a deal for Brandon Aiyuk. Ian Rapoport reported that the 49ers and Steelers have agreed to a deal, but Aiyuk hasn't signed off on the new contract yet.

So how long until the Steelers tire of Aiyuk's act? 3 years?

Isn't that true with almost every NFL team, if their starter goes down?

Three years is an eternity. That's how they ended up with a hole at receiver in the first place, being tired of Diontae Johnson's act. At least Aiyuk is a better player.

Yeah, but some have at least passable backups. If Goff goes down the Lions might as well punt on first down.

I'm less concerned for the 2024 Vikings, who I think were going to be crap anyway and more concerned down the road. That's a year of rookie contract burned and you probably can't play him out of the box in 2025 either.

ESPN has fired Robert Griffin III in a cost-cutting move.

The story in the Atlantic - linked below; probably behind paywall, so the story from Waco's local CBS station is also linked below - said his salary was "more than seven figures."

So was it eight figures, like $10,000,000 a year? If he makes between $1 million and $9,999,999 a year, then that's all seven figures.

If he had "one of the best auditions ever seen" three years ago, what happened?

Sam Ponder, who also made seven figures, also axed.
