Absolutely. There are plenty of reasons this idea will be DOA. My only point is, it isn't quite as easy as Tony Clark shaking his head no.

Witt Jr. entered tonight at .349 and just blasted a rocket over left-center fence in Cincinnati.

While the rest of MLB is hitting ~ .245 on the year. Amazing.

Don Orsillo and Mark Grant are one of the best local telecast pairings in MLB.

I cannot recall someone lifting his average 50 pts so late in the year. He’s ridiculous right now (and hope he keeps it up)

Really, can you put Kimbrel out there again after tonight? This was the final embarrassment.

I’m so sick and tired of all the krap.
Someone just hit a double. Starts dancing at second base.
I’m sorry. If I’m opposing manager, next guy up wears one. Hip-butt-thigh. Don’t matter. Nothing stupid. No ankle/no hand/no head.

I'm watching Chinese Taipei-Australia on tape delay. And I swear, five seconds after I read that, the Taipei kid doubled and danced as he arrived there.

    If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'.

… and there’s a stolen base by Castellanos.

That’s from last year, maybe two years ago, and Manning did not say what it sounds like he said.

While his pitching staff burned around him, at least Jackson Holliday snapped his strikeout streak at 24 games. And he did it pretty classy -- 4-for-5 with a triple.
