Ran the same joke at my boss, who leaned right but abstained from voting in 2016 because he hated both of them. “Oh will you stop,” he groused. One thing I remember Joe saying in an interview or two was that if the case were made to him he couldn't win, that he wasn't the right guy, that would convince him to drop out.

Pelosi seemed to convince him, but perhaps Joe saw the light, too. Both things can be true.

 

Why shouldn't she be? Nobody can count votes like her, she's a brilliant strategist and current House leadership would be stupid not to have her around as a resource.

 

That's absolutely not what that article suggests. She didn't want the appearance of a Kamala coronation because she thought it wouldn't play well in the election. It didn't say she didn't want Kamala. And Walz wasn't even on the radar screen at the time that article was written.

 

Happily, that many more thousands of fukchead Boomer GQP asshole voters will have croaked by then.

There were around 170,000 Palestinian Americans in the U.S. according to the 2020 census, perhaps as many as 600,000 if you count those who identify just as "Arab." Just 26 percent voted for Trump in 2016, and that was before moving the embassy to Jerusalem.

It's a non-issue. Let them have their 15 minutes.
