Heard about this on NPR earlier.

 

OK, I love Kenan (ATL represent), but I don't think this segment is really working -- at least not to the extent of something involving SNL's elder statesman.

Could've just been something straightforward to bash 2025.

 

I was thinking a Hollywood Squares-like wall might be more effective.

This is another difference between the Dems and the GQP convention. The Dems are showing their bench strength with the likes of Booker and Jeffries. With the GQP, it was Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan.

 

Brilliant booking decision, and a fine speech. ... That's gotta be the first time a prominent member of one of the top two rival parties has spoken at the opposing party's national convention to endorse his opposing party's presidential ticket, right? ... Or is it not?

There’s also a split. The Dems are united, Republicans are not. Plenty of the GOP bench - especially governors - are staying in the background as Trump flames out.
