Who would win a tournament of fictional football teams, college, pro and HS divisions?

Miami Sharks of Any Given Sunday or "Miami" of Semi-Tough?

ESU of The Program, Texas State from Necessary Roughness, Louisiana of The Waterboy or Huxley of "Horse Feathers"?

Ampipe of All The Right Moves or the Central Wildcats of Wildcats or West Canaan of Varsity Blues?

Don't know but with Gus kicking, the Atoms would content at the pro level.

I haven't seen Semi-Tough in way too long, but the Sharks were a mess, so they probably lose.

ESU from The Program was an elite national power. They would have been the villains in any movie with those other teams. So if it's in a movie, they lose. If it's something closer to reality, they win.

Regarding the last one, is it raining?

Plus, Texas State was terrible — its only win was the last game against Texas — and Louisiana was something like 6-5. Even a mid-level ACC/SEC team like ESU ought to dismantle those guys.

Don't tell me the preseason doesn't matter! Raiders and Niners finished things in a fun way Friday night.

Forgot the North Dallas Bulls. You might also include the L.A. Rockets from the Columbo episode "The Most Crucial Game".

It was quite a leap forward for mid-90s radio technology once you got the hang of using it. Unfortunately I never did get very precise with it (or more likely forgot to use it half the time) when I worked overnights at the campus NPT station. My job was to record Earth & Sky and Dr. Science, then have those cued up to play in their scheduled slots at the bottom of the hour. But I fumbled the bag more often than not due to a combination of young recklessness and sleep deprivation.

Fortunately my boss wasn’t apt to be listening at 3:30 am to make sure I was hitting my marks.

The Ridgemont High football team was pretty good.

One of those Bulls teams had Marcus Allen and O.J. in the backfield.
