The Steelers hired Arthur Smith to run the offense.
Any of you guys watch a Falcons game the last couple of years?

Maybe Smith needs crappy (Wilson) or mediocre players to win. Because he certainly couldn't win with Bijan, Kyle Pitts and Drake London.

By "odd situation", you mean, "Russell Wilson can't play QB."

Throwing 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions with a weak supporting cast in Denver last season makes your claim that he is no longer even competent look ill-informed at best. You might be right about the line, but having Jones start from day one this year is an upgrade. So is adding Frazier at center, which was a huge problem last season.

I'm far from sold on adding Wilson. I know he holds the ball way too long. I think he will be a great fit with Pickens and can be particularly effective in play-action, something the team didn't do nearly enough last season.

I also understand that all of it is worthless if they only have one competent NFL receiver, which may be the case with their roster as it stands right now.

I guess you forgot what his offenses did in Tennessee. Of course, I'm coming at this from a lense of anything being a big upgrade over Matt Canada. I wouldn't trust him to call plays for a high school team.

Cute lines don't cover for your opinions not fitting the available data.

Available data indicates that his passer rating and QBR have dropped deeply from career averages over the past two years ... and that Max Fried struck him out on five pitches.
