The players in that league are not very smart. And of course Reese isn't jealous of Clark at all because you know, she's just as popular and just as big a star.

 

The Fever needs to bring in Rick Mahorn as a consultant.

 

The league is more or less whatever the NBA and ESPN wants it to be. It's either going to take one of Clark's teammates retaliating against an opponent, or a big fight, for something to change. (I doubt Clark retaliating is an option.)

It's embarrassing. It'll be even moreso if Clark doesn't win Rookie of the Year - which, she may not.

 

Reese has 1 flagrant this season. Chennedy Carter leads the league with four.

By my cipherin', there have been 30 flagrants in the league this season (saw a stat where Carter had 13% of them, so 4/30=13.3%).

So Clark has been on the victim end of 5 flagrants (16.6%), 4 of them by Chicago (80%).

 

Clark is certainly rangy and strong enough she should do fine in fights against smaller guards, but against 6-3, 230 bone crushers she'll have problems. Which is why Indiana needs to get a couple of them. Boston is the right size, but you don't want one of your top scorers doing that stuff.

The Fever need to sign the meanest enforcer they can find. I don't care if her vertical is six inches as long as she can throw a mean elbow.

 

Shit, find one who can shoot as well as Reese. Should take about 5 seconds to find.

Right. Already set the single-season rebounding record -- as a rookie -- and will very likely set the single-season record for double-doubles. Again, as a rookie.
