Week 1 College Football Thread: Seven Years of College Station Down the Drain

Dammit, I'm already looking for SEC Shorts. Guess they actually need time to produce it.

An SEC team is playing today -- should be included.

 

One of the bucket list events is USC at LSU on Saturday night.

 

With these expanded playoffs, Notre Dame is going to walk in and get destroyed.

 

In theory they could earn a 5 or 6 seed, play the G5 rep or a B+ SEC/Big 12 team and squeeze out a first-round win at home, right?

 

They could be higher as there is a chance they go undefeated. Their schedule is soft as puppy shit.

I'm so tired of them getting close when they aren't near where the other teams are.

 

So with Saban retired - who is the best active coach. Kirby Smart is clearly the most successful, but is he considered a great xs and os guy?

 

Did you see the Jonesboro Screwjob on UCA? ASU WR makes a spinning catch in the end zone with 3 seconds left. Two officials on top of it signal incomplete. After a five-minute review - looking at two camera angles - they reverse it to a TD. But a Little Rock TV station had a better angle and you can clearly see the ball coming out of the WR’s hands when he hit the ground.

IIRC, they can't be higher than fifth because the top four seeds are reserved for the P4 conference champs.
