It's in the middle of this clip. I would hope a scoring change happens postgame

The 1899 Cleveland Spiders wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Also, the White Sox won only four games in August. Which sounds terrible, except that was an improvement over July, when they won three.

I think the O's are going to be very disappointed to take only two of three here.

How the hell is that a hit? (Yes, it very much screwed my fantasy team.)

Yeah, but Chicago beat the fuck out of the Yankees one night too. Baseball, man. It's REALLY FUCKING HARD to lose like the White Sox have lost this season. I was more worried about losing the series, so I'm in shrug mode.

Pythag is rarely kind to really awful teams. The White Sox "should" be 37-109, not counting tonight. But the 1962 Mets (40-120) played 10 wins below pythag and the 2003 Tigers were six wins to the bad the year they lost 119.

The White Sox are now 9-35 in games decided by five runs or more, and 9-27 in one-run games, so they're talented at losing cliffhangers and blowouts.

However, Baltimore still won the season series, 6-1.

Of course, Counsell lifted him up 11-0.

Might be the only thing the Giants have done right this season.

Not my money but I don't like that starting with an age 32 season. But if Lee comes back and is worth the contract he got and there's another move or two with all the money they have coming off the books, the last couple years might be worth it.
