Both prosecution and defense will be filing briefs, and the rumor is that the prosecution's brief may include previews of evidence unseen until this point, be it video, documentary, or witness testimony before the grand jury. I'm betting that Jack Smith finds a way to get some fresh evidence out to the public before the election. That's why Trump's lawyers wanted the whole thing scheduled after election day.

 

It really IS illogical that the best way to delay justice is to run for President. I think it has been his gameplan all along, and the legal system is rolling out the red carpet for him. Its nuts. THAT guy. Really?

Michael Cohen is an insignificant speck. Trump - or any former president, regardless of party - is not Cohen. Even if his crimes are greater, he will not face the same punishment.

The only case where Trump faces the legit threat of jail time is the classified docs case. I don't have confidence the Georgia election fraud case will make it to trial and a ruling.
