Week 2 college football thread: Everybody Do the Michigan Rag

I think I've mentioned it before but Dad was in Mumford's inaugural graduating class, which was predominately Jewish then. At 89, there probably aren't a dozen or more people still alive from the Class of 1953, not that Dad cares. And yeah, the school colors are powder blue and maroon, which my father said looked more like baby blue and pink back then.

Berkley High is built on land originally owned by my great-grandfather. The auditorium -- built in the 1980s, I believe -- is located at the intersection of Catalpa and Berkley, where my grandmother and father grew up. Dad said as a kid, he could look out the window and watch the high school kids at football practice.

You know the Bowling Green QB is a sixth-year guy by his hairline, which has receded dramatically.
