Georgia Tech struggling on the road with Syracuse. Not a total shock. I like Cuse's new coach Fran Brown, he's got potential. Did a good job at Rutgers under Schiano helping him get that program back to bowl contention and cut his teeth a little deeper at Georgia for a couple of years.

I also think Kyle McCord isn't as bad as Ohio State fans claimed, but they needed a fall guy when Michigan won and he was the most convenient.

But also Tech has played a lot of football in the first three weeks and traveled a ton. They didn't get the extra day off that FSU got. Might just be a very tired team for a noon road game.

Kind of why I liked Syracuse to cover that number (+3) if not outright win today. (See gambling thread).

I figured Penn State would start running downhill on Bowling Green as the game wore on. In fact, they have all day.

But that defense has given up way too much. And they could still lose this if they keep screwing around.

Michigan is getting boatraced, but I think this probably has more to do with Texas being really fuckin' good than what Michigan, admittedly a program in a major transition right now, is or isn't, though that quarterback play is pretty bad from Warren.

If they were playing them on the road in freezing November it would be different!!!

Texas looks like a team with very few weaknesses. As I told a friend, I wouldn't be totally shocked if they played Georgia three times this season.

Yikes. If Miami put up 41 against the Gators, Texas and Georgia might combine for 120. Hell, I'm not sure Samford tonight is a gimme.

One thing I'll say about Michigan fans, they stay to the bitter end.

Of course, traffic around Michigan Stadium is horrendous after the game, so there's really no reason to leave early.

Cincinnati chokes away a 21-point lead.

The first sentence didn’t age well, but I like the rest of it.
