Yeah, that too. The Lions may have just won the NFC North, two days before their first game kicks off.

Although, as I've noted before, if Jared Goff misses more than about four snaps for the Lions this season, they're screwed.

Nothing too serious. Just a nice midseason 8-12 week hamstring issue to put Goff on the sidelines and let Hooker guide the Super Bowl run would be fine.

Can someone explain the green bay thought process taking the ball out 5 yards deep with 30 seconds left in the game on the "dynamic" kick off?

Per media, Love's injury is to the MCL and not season-ending. Probably looking at 3-6 weeks, and with the next three games against middling to bad teams in the Colts, (at) Titans and Vikings, that's a pretty good position on the continuum of possible outcomes.

The rest of their qb room is shit. They will be a huge dog in upcoming games.

Oh, I am quite aware. (Packers fan here)

But the Titans QB room is equally shit, and I'm way down on the Vikings trying to resurrect the career of Sam Darnold. I may know less about the Colts than practically any other team in the league. I assume the objective will be to try and figure out enough offense from a combination of high-athleticism shit from Willis, hard running with Jacobs and some gadget plays with Reed that they can grab one or two 17-13 wins out of that pack. If you can get to October 1-3 or 2-2 before things tick up with the Rams and Texans in October, you're probably gonna still have a decent shot at the Wild Card.

No, the Titans' quarterback room is not nearly as bad as the Packers' without Love. Will Levis is much better than Malik Willis. Mason Rudolph is a solid backup. Sure, the opposition was crap, but he played extremely well for the Steelers late last season. I don't think he is a guy you want to start, but he is a competent passer. Willis is not.

Maybe the rest of the team is good enough and Willis can make some magic with his legs. Maybe Levis forces things and turns the ball over. Maybe Willis somehow got a hell of a lot better. Based on what he has shown so far, he is not a guy a good team should trust as it's No. 2.

No thought involved. Just like Jaire Alexander running that interception out of the end zone.

Malik Willis is actual trash. They're in big trouble.

They should trade for Russell Wilson. (Ducking …)
