NFL Week 1 thread -- Where we learn the meaning of Vão pássaros

Let me defend Daniels for a second. The offensive line is possibly worse than the one who got Sam Howell nearly killed last year. I'll give him more than a week before judging.

 

I do not support this idea but I believe narrower goal posts would make the sport more fun to watch.

 

I think the most concerning thing about Daniels is having Kingsbury as your OC.
I think in the right system, Kingsbury is a good college coach. He got no business being in the NFL

 

Somehow the two worst trades in NFL history* happened in the last two years. I still say Wilson to Denver was worse, just because of the money involved and the fact that he was benched because Sean Payton couldn't deal with that dude anymore. But Watson, sheesh. If they did the Nickeloden broadcast with him, the slime would be white and would land on the back of the many masseuses he besmirched.

*-Herschel Walker to Minnesota would like a word, I s'pose.

 

Panthers trading up for Bryce Young should at least make Other Receiving Votes.

 

The Niners traded three #1s and a 3rd rounder to draft Trey Lance.

I don't know that I like that imagery.

 

Rookie Terrion Arnold looks a good deal like freshman Terrion Arnold did. He became great in Tuscaloosa but there was a steep learning curve.

 

Got to have a QB. Some draft picks work and some don't. Can't fault GMs for doing their jobs. At some point someone has to pull the trigger.

 

Hes on the Colts, IIRC.
