Is wind a factor in Atlanta's stadium?

Only if you turn up the air conditioning really high.

No wind in Atlanta except rare occasions when the roof is open. Does have the third-highest elevation behind Denver and Glendale. (Kansas City is fourth, which I would not have guessed in at least two dozen tries.)

Outside of Denver the strongest possibility is the occasional Mexico City game.

Atlanta is at about 1,000 feet. Is that high enough to have an appreciable effect?

This one sounds outlandish. But then, it’s DeShaun Watson:

It does in baseball: Fulton County Stadium consistently had much higher power numbers than most of the otherwise mostly identical 60s multipurpose cookie cutter stadiums at lower altitudes.

I agree; however, unless you were of the chosen who grew up listening to one of the golden trio of announcers in Knoxville, Athens or Tuscaloosa, I can understand why listening to radio calls doesn’t have the same nostalgic allure.

Agreed. But my point was more about how hard it is for me to get into a game that’s on mute. I’m lucky to make it 60 seconds before whipping out my phone.
