Taylor Swift is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and problems of most Americans.

There are 9,782 other things to bag Vance on. I don't think this is one of them. Oh, OK, the Swifties will be pissed. They didn't like him already.

 

Attacking Taylor Swift is stupid politically. Doing so by launching an attack that could also fit Trump (or Elmo, for that matter) is that much more stupid. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's dumb.

 

@Neutral Corner made the point. Trump is a “billionaire” celebrity who is fundamentally disconnected from the issues facing most people.

 

Right up there with wanting to shut down government over a law making it illegal for illegal immigrants to vote ... oh yeah, they're trying that one!

OK, I do see what you're saying. Then again, both statements can be true. But yeah, Vance probably isn't the best person to be presenting one of them.

 

Pulled this quote from a comment on a local FB page:

"trump is for the American ppl, he loves his country an loves us!!!!! ... We the ppl of the United States of America need a strong protector, we pay for that!!!! This last year's as Biden being president this economy is sooo bad!!!!"

It just blows my mind that an adult could produce this. Never underestimate how stupid some adults are.
