    How you screw things up
    Volume whatever
    B9
    2 out
    3-1 count
    You’re leadoff batter
Man with highest batting avg in MLB on deck
    You swing
You pop up to end inning
    This.
    This is why I drink.

    One more time
    Just for emphasis
Kansas City has the worst bullpen in the history of MLB.
    Erceg
    McArthur
    Take your pick
    It don’t matter
    Absolutely putrid

    Sorry, @Chef2.

Tigers get a bloop and a bad hop to score two runs in the top of the 10th and beat the Royals, 3-1.

They're like the baseball version of Zombies. You just can't kill them off. They come up with a different way to win almost every night.

Still 1.5 behind the Twins but edging closer to their first winning season since 2016.

    See
I can get mad after these last 2 losses.
Managed to jerk off a 4-run lead last night
One of the closers throws 9,000 pitches in the 10th inning after KC left the bases loaded twice……10 on for the game.
    Infuriating.

The Royals are like Van Halen
They sound so good with Ragans/Lugo/Wacha just like Sammy did.
Then they bring in Erceg/McArthur/Zubic, and Zerpa and it’s like DLR standing up on stage and pissing all over the speakers.
The beginning is very good, but the ending leaves you walking out of the stadium like “What on bloody earth did I just witness?”

You know teams have pre scouted for a 100 years, right. That’s not analytics.

    Also, they’re bad.

Jimmie Foxx. If he wasn't a drunk, he would be an all time great.

    True and true.
However, the reality is, look for a fastball and adjust for a curve. With two strikes, that's gotta be the plan. Ask some of your baseball knowledgable friends. They'll tell you.

I can't fathom why Kimbrel would throw another pitch for that team. He truly should have been DFA'd before Cole Irvin, and that is no defense of Irvin.

It's a sad way to end a Hall of Fame career.

This has to be part of the explanation, because he simply isn't the same player he was early in the season.

Where did I say they shouldn’t? What you describe is not analytics.
