A lot of damage could’ve been staved off if SimCity had been available to introduce to a young Robert Moses.

 

Saw a dude today at the mall where a Detroit Tigers jersey of.....Norm Cash.

 

This cover band blasting out of a bar around the corner might be the worst I have ever heard. They can play, but they have the unique ability to make any song they cover utter trash. Do it different, but suck out everything that makes the song great.

 

There's a new cover to The Cranberries' Linger which is fine but still doesn't do it justice.

 

Seems like Elvis could've been Morrissey's dad.

 

Then they talked about how many underage girls they had.

 

Watching "The Perfect Storm." A lot of heavy Boston accent. I don't know if it's North Shore. Another thing is a guy says he has a job "over in Falmouth." He would have said "down in Falmouth."

 

I'd forgotten how many off-centered people there are on the train after dark.

 

A decent film for Marky Mark Wahlberg. Most of the time he looks like an Applebee's manager in his action films.

 

Been back in Long Beach for about 6 weeks and eaten a lot of phenomenal tacos.

But for the life of me I cannot find a goddamn jar of old school beet borscht.

 

I haven’t mowed in six weeks. Rain already, dammit.

 

We recently bought a house and moved closer to work after 20 years. It's an all-new build community with sidewalks and wooded walking trails, and I've been pounding 3.5-mile walks five days a week for six weeks here. I feel so much better physically.

There are probably about 20 homes built so far and about 8-10 occupied, with three more closing this week.

I like it a lot. As empty nesters, we have a new build, a smaller by square footage house and yet, it's bigger. All the living spaces are great. The fence, hopefully, goes up this week.

I'm happy here.

But people keep moving in.

I'm not sure I like people.
