So … if the Braves and Mets split tomorrow, who gets in with a three-way tie?

Three way tie, Braves and Mets in and Braves host. If I’m reading that right

So Arizona needs someone to sweep to get in.

Interesting because whichever team wins the first game has made the playoffs, and they would understandably want to rest their regulars in Game 2.

I take the current state of the opposition in what I think is its proper place.

It's not always about the other guy letting you produce. It's often about producing yourself.

If the Mets and Braves split …

    Mets at Brewers
    Braves at Padres

If there is a sweep in the doubleheader, losing team is out and …

    Dbacks at Brewers
    Mets/Braves at Padres

So Arizona might be making a trip to Milwaukee tonight/tomorrow for nothing.

Mets and Braves need to study what a “biscotto” means in Italian soccer.
