I don’t think the Cardinals are a bad team, and this will play out over the season. Please quote this later if I’m wrong.

At least the Jets play the 9:30 London game next Sunday so I will have most of the day to wonder why I support the team.

I've listened to Ross Tucker's podcasts for years. He has really worked and worked and he is a very good color guy (working the Raiders game).

Because I was responding to a comment about how they would have lost the game in previous years. And because it seemed like my first comment was missed the mark, I was trying to interject some levity.

But thank you and JC for checking in.

There's not enough chips and dip for me when the Commandos win the Super Bowl post-Snyder.

I feel stronger and stronger about this as we go along. Justin Fields can go on this list, too.

It happens every year lately. Some QBs that are written off earlier in their careers re-emerge as they mature.

There is hope for Caleb Williams. And Bryce Young. And maybe even Kenny Pickett.

Baker Mayfield won a playoff game. No one in Cleveland thought he was a bust. They just thought they could do better. They were wrong.

Chiefs are where the Patriots were at their peak.

Chargers went up 10-0 in the 1st and coulda/shoulda won by 3-4 touchdowns.

KC hung around and hung around and slowed the Chargers down and scored the final 17 points.

Methodical ass-kicking by the 2-time defending Super Bowl champs who were getting their ass kicked.

It's happened forever. Look at Jim Plunkett. Look at the Rams trading Ron Jaworski. Look at Kurt Warner. The logic of the league is that getting the new QB savior saves some coach and front office jobs -- for awhile.

I'll give you Bryce Young and insert Will Levis.

You just don't know until it plays out.

It's absolutely possible that I'm guilty of recency bias on this.
