You may be right, but I'm still guessing Olson-Jobe-Hurter-bullpen. Then opener-Madden-Mize-all hands on deck if there's a Game 3.

Ask Brewers fans if we loved having him on our team.

    Defense didn’t help.

Cosmo, the Orioles lost 1-0. Very very few games in baseball history where that's the manager's fault, probably none since the dead ball era. You're a fan and you're upset, which is completely OK. But don't throw away a piece of what's a pretty solid operation out of anguish.

He wasn't great there, was he. Anything in particular or just didn't play well? He was really good with Cincy.

Ask Counsell. He thought his .199/.320/.247/.567 merited a playoff roster spot.

Fittingly, he made the final out.

The Mets have had one hell of a 48-hour stretch.

    Shouldn’t they be Metsing soon?

I think they got the Metsing out of the way in the bottom of the 8th yesterday. Can't get more Metsing than that. If it does, we're in a for a treat eventually.

Momentum is tomorrow’s box score, but I’m loving the vibe from this Mets team.

Such a streaky bunch with the bats. They left Milwaukee pretty much in an offense daze and through seven innings of Game 1 yesterday, I wondered if they were going to score in either game regardless of who the Braves pitched, but Tyrone Taylor had one at bat that basically charged everyone else.

Once they got to Peralta early, it was easy to feel good about where they were headed.

They are an interesting team that can be quite fun at times.
