That eventuality did cross my mind but, not being aware of the limitations of that method, it seemed rather challenging to do convincingly in that setting.

She's plenty old enough to have had gender-affirming surgery too. Not that she has, but it is a possibility.

I don't really doubt she's trans, although obviously there have been no statements from her or the school and that is definitely their option, especially how this has all come out.

All these forfeits are helping SJSU (which is very good, and undefeated) earn the top seed for the MWC tournament; they will probably also forfeit in the second half of the conference round-robin as well. The MWC is probably a one- or two-bid volleyball league, let's see what happens if some of the teams that have forfeited have to play SJSU in the tourney with an NCAA berth on the line. Curious what will happen when they play AFA.

Somehow Iowa, Delaware, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Louisiana Tech, Cal Baptist, Fresno State, Cal State Fullerton and St. Mary's all survived matches against SJSU without traumatic injury.

Quite interesting that a bunch of Republicans are all of a sudden in favor of DEI.

After all, what do they think women’s sports are? Affirmative action on the basis of sex and gender equity.

My previous question is still pending if any lawyers on here can answer: How does Riley Gaines have standing to sue?

As for these politically induced forfeitures, let's see what happens if the NCAA tournament bracket comes out and the Spartans are in the field and assigned to play, say, Texas. Will Greg Abbott order the Longhorns to forfeit a game if it means the end of the season?

Boise State is always toward the top half of the standings and Wyoming has started the year well. Utah State sucks. Only six teams make the MW tournament. Will be interesting if they change their minds for the next games if the standings matter.

Whether she is trans or not, there are gonna be a shit-ton of lawsuits and I am looking forward to all of them.

Both CSU and SJSU are wearing white. I wonder if it is a unity thing? I don't think I've ever seen it before.

You'd think that would be forbidden by rules. But I suppose in a sport such as volleyball, where the net serves as a dividing line and confusion between teams isn't really possible, maybe it is OK for both to wear white.
