    I’ve never predicted a no-hitter, but something fluky has to happen against Skubal for that not to be the case.

    Skubal is worth five above-average hitters by himself.
    Every time he takes the mound, you need only a walk, a steal, a groundout to second and a fly ball.

    I don’t think the Tigers or Royals could score if every inning was played under The Worst Rule Ever Implemented.

    That’s Slider. In the 1995 playoffs it fell off the outfield wall and wore a giant cast all the way to the World Series.

    Vogt overplaying his hand here. If this goes extras, they don’t have much left. Also, too many first-pitch swings for the Guards, who don’t have much of a plan.

    Vogt is betting Clase can get seven outs and Skubal is gone in the 10th. It’s bold.

    Or he really trusts Walters.
