Do we think there is any chance wearing a Lebanese flag on his hoodie Sunday might have been a factor in Saleh's early exit? I'm not saying it should, but I wouldn't be shocked to see an NFL owner be unhappy about it despite Saleh being the child of Lebanese immigrants.

Steve Sommers used to host a midday show on WFAN back in the day. This was during the Leon Hess era and one of his bits was Jets therapy. There would be calming music and he would encourage callers to vent their frustration with the team. It was good radio.

Hasn’t that been a thing for a couple years now? Belichick wore a Croatian flag a bunch of times. I thought it was part of an NFL outreach program of sorts.

Before I was a Spartan, I was an Acorn. Who else was an Acorn a few years before me? The interim HC of the Jets!

The funny thing is, I think if the season ended today, the Jets would have the third Wild card. Its a weird decision in any event.

Yes, he’s done it each of the years that they have had the program.

Edited to clarify that the he is Saleh. He’s worn the Lebanese flag in the past, not just Sunday.

Me here and you there. Eddie Scazzeri on the other side of the glass. THE Eddie Scazzeri? No, Eddie Robinson, who do you think we’re talking?

They are eighth in the AFC, behind the Steelers, Broncos and Chargers.

Is firing Saleh gonna make Rodgers 10 years younger? Seems pointless otherwise. Maybe QAron needs to do his own research on how to not throw three interceptions.

I wonder how much Rodgers had a hand in it. After Saleh’s cadence remark, you knew he was doomed.

As for the wild card, they beat two teams with a combined 2-7 record. The defense isn’t terrible but Rodgers looks old and that O-Line is trash. They have the Bills next (which could be a good thing given how Buffalo has looked) and the Steelers on a short(ish) week and still have the Texans coming up. It’s going to get late fast

IIRC, the Oilers went to the white helmets the next season
