Glad you enjoyed! That was our Thursday night hangout in our post-college years. 25-cent wings, leading to a 1-2 hour wait for them. Place was always packed, and we’d be 3-4 pitchers deep by the time we got the wings. They’ve done some remodeling and have expanded as much as they can in the past 10 years or so. And it’s a nice walk to Fiserv Forum if not too frigid.

Maine Beer Co. is actually just north of town in Freeport, near the LL Bean flagship store. Portland is a really good beer town. Bissell Bros is fantastic. Loved Lone Pine, Austin Street, Belleflower ... hell, I even really enjoyed Allagash even if I'm not a big fan of Allagash White.

I just checked the Novare Res menu. Thanks for that recommendation. That'll definitely be on the list.

Want to give a shoutout to Wisconsin SJ. Have been here for three days now, and between my quick stop in Milwaukee and an evening in Sheboygan, the people could not have been kinder and more real, for the lack of a better term. I've just felt really welcome here. Did not expect to eat one of the best pizzas of my life here, but shoutout Il Ritrovo in Sheboygan and its ridiculous prosciutto and arugula pizza. They slice the prosciutto to order for every pie, which makes it crack. I fully expect to shoot 130 tomorrow on the Straits Course at Whistling Straits, but I've enjoyed every second of this trip.

Great to hear. If you have time on your way back to Milwaukee, stop in Port Washington and/or Cedarburg. Good eats and stores in those villages.

Something I learned about Wisconsin when we passed through Elkhart Lake last month: Before the Road America track existed, they used to race cars around the lake on the small town’s streets in the 1950s.

That’s a fun little resort town not too far from Sheboygan.

awesome news. I’m pretty jealous, though. You and my boss have both played the Straits this year.
