    Kansas U8.5 probably hits Saturday.

This might be a dumb question, but if you had that ticket can you cash it now? Or do you have to wait until November when all games have been played?
I've never bet a season total, so I honestly don't know how that works.

The key in making money on sports betting - with no risk - is to accumulate free bets. Rack em up.
Let's say you want to sign up in Colorado.

    First move.
**DraftKings. Bet $5, get $200 in Free Bets. Deposit the $5 and get it on anything where the odds are -200 or better (-180 counts, -300 doesn't).
**FanDuel. Bet $5, get $200 in Free Bets.

You'll have $400 in Free Bets to start.

**Fanatics. THIS is gold. There is a Bet $100 / Get $100 in free bets for ten straight days. (I've seen this as Bet $200 / Get $200 in free bets for 5 straight days). Whichever works. We'll do the $100/$100 example. The Fanatics bet HAS to be -200 minimum.
Sign up for this and then find a market where it's -200 (or so) at Fanatics and +180 (or so) at DraftKings or FanDuel.
Bet $100 on Dodgers ML at -200 at Fanatics. Go to Draft Kings and bet $25 free bet (DK gives free bets in $25 units) on Braves ML at +170 and then bet another $25 free bet on a 2-team parlay: Braves ML +170 and anything that will most likely hit for -800 or longer (college football is usually good for this -- or a Bears or Titans NFL game with a total of under, say, 61).

Once the $100 Fanatics bet gets decided, you'll get a $100 free bet.

Repeat this for 10 days. You'll rack up $1,000 in free bets over 10 days. Do watch the expiration dates for the free bets. Once your FD and DK free bets are exhausted on the Fanatics, then use real money until the Fanatics $1,000 bets are all done.

Then go to a website called OddsShopper - Free Bet Converter
Free Bet Conversion Calculator - Optimize Sportsbook Bonus Returns

Type in your info on your $100 Fanatics Free bet and it'll show you where to maximize your free bet. I try to get 65%+ on each free bet. Just follow the directions and you'll guarantee yourself that profit by betting both sides. Say you'll drop the $100 Fanatics free bet on Wyoming +370 while dropping $300 on Fresno State -320 at, say, FanDuel. (Note: do NOT use free bets for anything ever that is not "plus money" +100, +300, etc. -- you're wasting your free bet in that case).

Next Step: do the "second chance bets". For these, you'll want your first bet at a new book to LOSE. That way, if you go to BetRivers, deposit $250 and lose it, you'll get a "free bet" for $250. (Then go to OddsShopper to find the free bet to burn there).

    Example.
    Deposit $250 into Bet Rivers.
Go to OddsShopper and type in "arbitrage" for Low Hold (that is when the difference between the odds is minimal).

Say, you have $250 on Bet Rivers for Bears ML +230. Then go to Fanatics (or deposit somewhere else) where the 49ers ML is -260 and put down, say, $600 (to win $230). You'll lose $20 if the 49ers win but GAIN a $250 free bet. Convert that out at 60% and it's $150 ($130 profit)... at 70% $175 ($155 profit).

Repeat with the "big boys" for the second chance bets.
    Caesars does up to $1,000
    ESPN does up to $1,000
    bet365 does up to $1,000
    BetMGM does up to $1,500.

    Enjoy. That's the secret.

I need touchdowns in this Ole Miss-UK game. Not freaking field goals.

There's one. It's going to take them stomping on the gas in the fourth quarter like a teenager entrusted with a new Hellcat to get you to the over, though.

I was more confident in Ole Miss beating Kentucky by at least 16 yesterday than anything else on the board. Alas ... that UK defense is real and my usual Saturday parlay was toast. The other two parts (Michigan-Minnesota and Indiana-Maryland overs) hit easily. That Michigan-Minnesota total was absurdly low (34.5), like Iowa level. That was at least a free bet, and I put a little in-game taste on Cincy-Texas Tech to go over 79.5 when it was 24-all at half, so I came out a bit ahead yesterday.

7-0 against the spread today. That is the first time I’ve ever pulled that off.

Question for gamblers. I imagine most serious gamblers have a system. At what point do you "adjust" your system when you have a bad streak? I'm not a gambler, but I hear so many "experts" on the radio who are very loud when they win and very quiet when they lose.

The only "system" you should have is money management and the discipline to not throw that out the window when you're on a bad streak. (The Hawaii game laughs at this.)

Had a very good day on the local Sportsbook app, finishing +$3500 on $250 worth of bets (five bets at $50). Big one was a 6-teamer — Detroit (-3.5), over 52.5, Atlanta -6, over 46, Cincy -3.5 (I was sweating that hook until the late TD), under 45.5. Hit for +$2420 on that one.

Also hit a 4-teamer (Detroit -3.5, over 52.5, Atlanta -6, over 46), Atlanta -6 straight up, and an odds boosted prop bet of AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith each Over 0.5 TDs.

Missed an early window 6-teamer with the Patriots failing to cover +6.5. Would have been a $6k day had they been able to keep up with Houston.

Beautiful! Favorites were 10-2 yesterday in the NFL, had to be very bloody for the sportsbooks. But they'll be OK.
