    Pitt is off.
Having won the dumbest football game I have ever watched.
I don't care what these people do.

This always surprises me. Two things I am terrrrrrible at are understanding lyrics when they are sang, and recognizing someone years after their brief moment of fame. John F. Barmon Jr., the actor who played Spaulding Smails, says people are always going up to him and yelling "Spaulding!!" I wouldn't recognize today's John Barmon as Spaulding if I sat next to him at work every day.

Going off the AP poll, how the playoffs would look this week:

    12. Boise State (Mountain West champion) at 5. Penn State
    11. Tennessee at 6. Ohio State
    10. Clemson at 7. Georgia
    9. LSU at 8. Alabama

    1. Texas (SEC champion) vs. LSU-Alabama
    2. Oregon (Big Ten champion) vs. Clemson-Georgia
    3. Miami (ACC champion vs. Tennessee-Ohio State
    4. Iowa State (Big 12 champion) vs. Boise State-Penn State

    She has great comedic timing.

Any time I hear Bizet's "Habanera" all I can think of is Gilligan singing, "I ask to be, or not to be . . . "

I don't know in what area Texas gets exposed exactly where. UGA could pull out a W in Austin but it'll just be 2 good teams colliding and UT is favored +3.5.

The big question is, who is in a good position to slide up once those SEC and Big Ten teams start gathering losses?
Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee all have one loss already and at least two of them are guaranteed to pick up at least one more. Ohio State and Penn State play each other as well.
So who is sitting there between 10 and 20 who can take advantage of that chaos?
Texas A&M might be one. If it can get past LSU next week it has fairly smooth sailing until it plays Texas.
BYU is 6-0 and its toughest challenges are Utah and Arizona State who are both up and down.
Will there be enough two- and three-loss P4 teams where they'll be forced to take two G5 teams (Boise State and an undefeated Army-Navy winner)?
