Truth be told I'd rather have Pitino than Calipari, but non-Kentuckians can't be choosers.

I’m sure St. John’s would like to have Pitino, considering they’re paying him to run their program and not go running off to his Old Kentucky Home.

Pitino was/is as slimy as Norm Stewart’s boy, Rich Daly.

Damn the powers that be for killing off the Big XII-SEC Challenge.

I hate generic logos, especially common ones like Bulldogs. I assume that's Gonzaga and not Georgia.

At No. 6? Yes. I thought that particular style of bulldog was widely understood to be Gonzaga by now.

I’m actually the opposite in that I hate the trend of logos becoming generic letters that are pancake flat so they show up better as a phone app icon. Part of the greater death of design you see everywhere.

Know your Bulldogs. Not sure why they used the one they did for Georgia. That was just a secondary logo used from 2013-15. They had a different one that was their main logo from 1958-64. It's the exact same drawing as the Bergen CC one, only facing the other direction and with red, black and white colors.

The author may need to check some things. Southwestern Oklahoma State, if there is such a thing, is not an NCAA Division I member.

Stamford’s former mark is what lawyers might call confusingly similar to Gonzaga’s.

I guess I never thought of it in those terms since Samford is a local school whose logo I’m used to seeing, but yeah now that I look at their old one I can see your point. Still don’t think there’s much danger of thinking they are a Top 10 team, although they might get there before Georgia.
