if she'd been more specific on the fifty regulations she'd do away with on day one and her favorite confederate generals and if larry hogan or chris christie would be her first hall pass atop the resolute desk maybe she wouldn't be in this position

She's a good counterpuncher. Just as she was in the Trump debate. But when your opponent's plan is just to bore in throwing punches wildly, it gets easier to do that.

 

One more thing. The Fox poll showing Trump up by 2 nationally also showed Harris up by 6 in the swing states. If by any chance (one in a million IMO) she won the electoral college while Trump won the popular vote it'd be a very funny outcome. Except, of course, for that pesky civil war result.

 

I made sure to run that on our shop’s Nation/World page in tomorrow’s print edition. Lord knows AP sent out a truckload of stories about Biden’s age/mental condition. And we ran several of those, too.

And they all reach for their pack
And Lindsey lights it for him and pats him on the back
And throws a bottle at a milk truck
And as it breaks he thinks this is nuts
And they all know they could be just like Trumpeo
If they only had the guts

But Trumpeo is tweeting but nobody can tell
And he sways along to the radio
With a thick depends in his pants
And he combs back his toupee
And they all agree its clear
That everything is cool now that Trumpeo is here

 

I just don't know how that is even mathematically possible -- there's just hidden millions of people in red states that are going to vote all of a sudden but they won't show up in the seven states everybody knows determines the presidency?
