And when they made the schedule, the Jesters were going to be buoyed by the return/arrival of Saint Aaron. Or so the league hoped.

The Saints are staring at a shutout unless Alvin Kamara can do the Bugs Bunny play-every-position act. Derek Carr almost certain to be out. Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed confirmed out and Taysom Hill is doubtful.

Struggling to think of anyone in the history of the world (biting my lip to not delve into the political world) who needs to go away more than this fucking guy.

Jets superfan Fireman Ed says team is phasing him out at MetLife - ESPN

Also, didn't he basically "retire" from his Fireman Ed/Jets persona at one point a few years ago and then come back, or did I imagine that?

I didn't imagine it. At least as far as Wikipedia says:

I'm sure there is at least some Attention Whore in all of us. But fuck this guy.

Jesus H Christ, the amount of Jets attention v their results on the field is off the charts.

But if it's attention that is focused on crapping on Fireman Ed, I think we can all agree that it's very much OK.

This is one move Aaron Rodgers made I highly approve of.

I rank him one spot on the Douchebag Scale below the guy leading the Yankees roll call
