No health issue, per multiple reports.

Please let them hire someone that wants to play 40 minutes of hell and take the first open look from 35 feet.
    That would be delicious.

Tony Bennett will have many TV offers like Jay Wright and could end up at CBS Sports and Capital One

Just seems weird that a week ago at ACC Tipoff to be talking about the season and the new teams and everything to just turn around and walk away.

I’m glad that it does not appear to be a health issue and from the way outside he’s always struck me as having integrity in a profession sorely lacking in it.

But boy howdy am I tired of longtime coaches manipulating the schools that have cherished them with sudden retirements that are designed to make sure their favored assistant gets dibs on the big chair. And this smacks of that.

It’s always a shady move to do it this late to force the longtime assistant or your son into the HC role.

He’s a good looking guy… but not an interesting guy.

    He was 66.
Bennett is 55. Now granted, I didn’t think he was that old.
    Still apples and coconuts IMHO.
