    Vogt, who is a puppet in every sense, now can spend the offseason trying to rebuild guys whose confidence has been destroyed the past 10 days.

    My wife of eight years, a Cubs fan, looked at me and it finally clicked. “God actually hates your teams.”

    She finally gets it. This marriage is going to last.

    Although I’m not sure how that rain delay didn’t make it abundantly clear days into our marriage.

    Seems a little harsh. Young team growing with a young, well-respected leader not far removed from being in the arena himself. It's gonna be OK.

    One helluva game in The Cleave.

    Meanwhile, the good-vibe Mets are apparently coming to an end. The Dodgers are just a better team. And Mets pitchers have walked about 703 batters in 3-plus games.
