Mets can’t or won’t throw strikes. I mean, just groove one at this point and hope he misses.

I remember Billy Hatcher getting on eight straight times for the Reds the 1990 Series. Crazy. And 11 is just bonkers.

Section 15, lower boxes, third base side.

And now I live about a mile from the epicenter.

That coverage was off-the-charts incredible. From Koppel to Uncle Al. Calmed. Measured. No assumptions. Actual reporting.

Mouthy Royals fans. I’ve seen it all now.

Celebrate every one like it’s a championship. Life is short and you only get so many of these. It’s about the ride, not the destination.

Three times in two weeks I’ve gotten to hoist my five-year-old son over my head and giggle and scream and run around the house like I did when I was 11 and Albert Belle or Manny Ramirez did it. It’s so fun.

I have not been watching that closely. Have any/many of those walks been intentional?

Never forget how irate I was when they cut to Roseanne.

Kyle Manzardo. A kid who played Little League and high school sports with my son (who is one year older than Kyle). He’s been chipping in for the G-men since he was called back up, including a two-run HR in tonight’s game. Fun to see!

Right before the Special Report kicks in, there is Michael Bolton going full steam in a jingle for McDonalds breakfast. 9:30.
