I'd love for the Mets to win this one, if nothing else for this group to have one more W in front of the home fans. Force it back to LA at least.

Off to a good start with a three-run Alonso bomb.

Why are both games on concurrently on Friday afternoon?

Oh crap. This is a replay on MLB network.

When does the boat for Lake Fail leave this hour?

One thing about the NLCS. Even when the gamers arer 8 pm starts, they don't keep me up past bedtime. Every one has been over by the fourth or earlier.

Flaherty becomes only the third starting pitcher in postseason history to allow ≥ 8 runs in ≤ 3 IP. Others were Johnny Cueto for the Royals in a 2015 ALCS loss to the Jays and Grover Cleveland Alexander of the Cardinals vs. NYY in the 1928 World Series.

Overs are 6-1 in this round and one more run in ALCS game 1 would have made it 7-0. Last night in Cleveland was a classic but otherwise, yeah.

Dodgers left eight men on in the first four innings. That's hard to do.

Happy the Mets got this one. Team has been a lot of fun, nice to get another win at home.

And hey, win on Sunday and force a Game 7.... ya never know. Unlikely but not impossible.
