I realize guys make mistakes but the number of dick-high hangers Cleveland’s relievers have thrown on pitchers’ counts this postseason has been unreal. Major League hitters do not miss those.

I’m starting to think the Yankees bullpen isn’t very good.

A quarter of an inch on the bat away from complete pandemonium.

This Yanks-Guards series is a lot of fun. Especially with every Mets-Dodgers game a blowout.

They might have to trade Clase. This is Mesa territory. Well, more Armando Benitez territory. I’m not sure that air of invincibility ever returns after this.

Who knew "11 man" was actually referring to the number of pitchers the Guardians are using every game?

EDIT: Or the number of walks Yankees relievers are capable of giving up?

Good God, if this goes back to New York, it's going to be "coach pitch" at some point.

The Dodgers are going to throttle them.

The Yankees are three hitters and Cole. The rest is bad defensively, bad at baserunning and incredibly thin in the bullpen.

Probably would have been no different, but I'd like to have seen how that last inning plays out if the ump doesn't blow the 3-2 pitch to Thomas, which was both low and outside. Those guys need to be better.

Also, Vogt might be the worst manager I've ever seen.

I’m sitting here just laughing that the sentence “The Guardians’ biggest weakness is Emmanuel Clase” is what the season comes down to.

    Inexplicable.

    It was an honest question.

Anyone want to help here? Did someone really say that about Clase?
