I'm forming a little mancrush for the Detroit Lions. If I hadn't already.

 

Might be one of the few times a fan base breathes a sigh of relief when the starting quarterback suffers a season- and possibly career-ending injury.

 

I was gonna say ... aw, that's a damn shame.

 

I think everyone, player, coach, fans, etc. is breathing a sigh of relief.

 

How much time was left and where were the Falcons on the field when they did it?
In the Jets-Bills game I was complaining about, it was less than 30 seconds so there presumably wasn't a lot of time to do anything with it, and the Bills were in the red zone.
If you have a minute or so and can get decent field position out of it, go for it. The Jets seemed to be helping the Bills more than they were helping themselves in that particular situation.
