I’m fascinated that there’s no runoff for illegal formation. Seems like a loophole to exploit if you throw to the middle of the field and can’t get to a legal formation. Just make sure everybody gets set. You then get a throw into the end zone.

 

I think it was all predicated on the fact the clock had stopped on the spike. I figure you’d rather be five yards closer.
