I was really impressed with Ariana Grande. Moreso than just about every host I can recall, she almost never flubbed a line, even when she was asked to speak comically fast. Plus, she almost never broke character, which rarely happens anymore…

She was so good it made me think she could be considered to host the Oscars.

Back in the day, she'd be a Vegas headliner, ala Ann-Margaret. She's a hell of a performer. Or maybe host a weekly variety show on a network. She seems to be the kind of performer someone would write a Broadway show specifically for.
I don't know if I'd see her in concert or anything, but she is one of those multi-talented people who can seemingly do anything.

Yes. I feel the same way about Selena Gomez, too.

Selena is the breakout star of "Only Murders in the Building." Everybody knows about Steve Martin and Martin Short, but she holds her own with ease against two comedy icons.

Breakout, perhaps in the sense of mainstream acting. But she was a Disney Channel star as a kid, and is known worldwide for her music.

The Keaton episode was good, the writing wasn't great. The Do Not Destroy was great. MVP honors go to Sarah Sherman who had me rolling with her Victoria's Secret bit. "Tuberculosis hankie?" OMG.

There ends the streak of Dave Chapelle hosting the post-election shows. Though Bill Burr should be fine enough.

Wow, Charli pulling double duty! Kind of surprising that she's the one doing that, but maybe she's more interested in it than the string of musician-actors they've had in recent past that just did one or the other on the show.
