According to AAA, the national average gas price is $3.15, much cheaper than it was two years ago. Somebody also might want to explain to these people that oil prices are a worldwide problem, one that Trump contributed to with his idiocy.

It really is amazing just how much Trump's candidacy relies on people being stupid and ignorant.

Also, that 20-year-old admits to being a social conservative who is changing churches because his old church got "too progressive." So, that putz was never voting for Harris.

$4.45 at the Safeway gas I go to. It hasn’t been below $4 since the shutdowns. At least it’s down from closer to $5 and it’s trending down still.

The idea that the President controls the price of gas is a crucial part of the American idiocracy.

That graph garrow posted about Harris's economic policies being more popular than Trump's? There were similar ones posted by Charlotte Rampell, one of the Post's economic writers, which found that most surveyed thought Harris's policies were Trump's proposals. There is nothing anyone can do if our electorate finds it more convenient to be ignorant to the point of idiocy rather than inform itself. Most of them would never make such blunders if they were buying a big ticket item like, oh, a refrigerator or a new car. They'd do their research. I don't think our constitutional democracy is long for this world. Harris might beat Trump, but a new and more effective idiot-dictator will take his place.
