Any paper that takes a pass on this Presidential election, considering one of the candidates is threatening their very existence, is just ridiculous.

Speaking from personal experience, nothing but respect for someone who steps into the journalism void, particularly on principle.

Honestly, what a chickenshit move. Absolutely gutless. Katie Graham is rolling over in her grave. Do endorsements matter? Probably not. But newspapers cowering in fear ABSOLUTELY DOES. I worry that all of the safeguards of our democracy have failed.

It's so inexplicable, other than that, clearly, someone at the top supports Trump, and knows it's wrong to do so.

Well it is clear that having billionaires control so much of our democracy isn't working. The fundraising, the control of various media platforms, and this is exactly what SCOTUS wanted with Citizen's United.

I should make clear here that I know and work with a lot of these people, and that I am as angry as I've ever been. Jesus. Unconscionable.

Remember the old Jack Benny line when the robber demands "Your money or your life" and after a long pause Benny says, "I'm thinking. I'm thinking." That's Bezos.
