That is also how I view them. They have needed a couple of big comebacks to get there, too, but it's still a big step up from last year.

Agree. I think that talent and depth will both mean that ND wins. If nothing else they should be able to beat Navy's defense in the second half.

That said, I watched Navy live a couple of weekends ago and that offense was really well run and different. I'll watch at least part of this game, depending on the blowout/upset potential.

If they can close out 2-3 with losses to SMoo, Clemson and Louisville, it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Hopefully, they can do a little better than that. A lot will depend on Holstein. Narduzzi was evasive after the game, but it sure looked like he had a concussion.

It was the same for me. Once I really got limited in July 2021 by PointsBet, BetRivers, MGM, I didn’t have the avenues. I was still a platinum player on DraftKings so I got these 50% boosts with a max bet of $250. Still made money off those.

Yet once I didn’t NEED to make the money, I found it too time consuming.

Tbat being said, Penn State -6 and take every New Mexico game over. 6-1 to the over.

In words I never expected to type, Boise-UNLV might be for a playoff spot tonight?

Part of me is rooting for Miami, Clemson and SMU, none of which plays one another, to all go 8-0, leaving one of them out of the conference championship game, just to expose the absurdity of a 17-game conference.

That's not a Vote of Confidence, but it does read like a precursor to the execution just the same.

Despite the efforts our football coaches and student-athletes have put forth this season, the results of a tough early schedule are not what we all expected.

You can cut and paste that sentence into the eventual notice of execution. Wouldn't have to change much except to update with time references.
There might be a lot of interim coaches juggling game-planning with turkey and gravy this Thanksgiving.

I honestly don’t want them to be terrible. I don’t want auy school left out of the Fat Two alignment to be terrible. I was way more amused by James Franklin showing his ass in a press conference where the dismissal of two players for sexual assault came up and Jimbo, always one to peacock around in good times, went and hid behind a background.

Maybe I’d given Franklin benefit of the doubt had this same thing not happened at Vanderbilt.
