Tony Hinchliffe needs an opening act I hear. I don't know if it started in sports talk, or political talk, but clearly the more crazy your "take" is, the better I guess. Gets your name out there. He'll become a regular on the Gutfield show. Its hard to differentiate the "comedians" from the "serious political thinkers" these days. On both the left and the right actually.

 

If somebody called Appalachia a mountain of garbage, noted hillbilly cosplay enthusiast JD Vance would be screaming into microphones from hell to breakfast about such a blatant insult.

A party willing to treat some group as subhuman has the potential to treat any group that way. And it’s time my people figured it out.

 

I’m reasonably sure Vance did just that in “Hillbilly Elegy.”
