He’s lucky to not be facing assault charges.

And it was “they” who stabbed the coach, a father and son dumbass team.

If the Yankees were any more than Soto and Judge with the occasional cameo by Stanton over the last half of the season, they would have won the AL East by 15 games. The Orioles were only in it as long as they were because the Yankees were equally as shitty. I'm not surprised at all at this offensive showing in this series. They are what we thought they were.

They could end up facing some sort of charges. At the very least, they should be banned from every ballpark in MLB for life. There is no place for such behavior.

Freddie Freeman continues to stab the Yankees in the gut.

Chad Fairchild having a tough night as the first base umpire tonight. That's the second overturn. And he would have the plate in a potential Game 6.

You’re umpiring the World Series and you miss two calls at first? Both bang bang, but still.

Edit: MileHigh beat me to it.

Lousy flip from Torres to Volpe allowed Freddie to reach. Defense and baserunning have killed the Yankees.

Edit: I beat you to it, Smoltz!*

The first one was tight. The second one, at this level, for this level of umpiring, is Angel Hernandez-esque.

Oh he is; however, his career is another matter.

Apologies for the threadjack, but a few years ago, while he was working on a golf book, I was the media relations guy who hosted Reilly, who was in town to interview someone about a potential subject for the book.

I grew up with his SI pullouts and back page columns, but this was post-ESPN Really, so all the caveats apply.

That said, he was a marvel to watch interview his subject. King of a followup question to learn more. More and more. Deeper and deeper detail. Notes and notes and notes. As a feature interview, it was special to watch, and a gear that he had I haven't seen elsewhere. It was a glimpse into what clearly had made him great.
