Yesterday had the mother of all corrected scores near the end and then an idiotic FJ bet by the second place contestant (which ended up not mattering in the end).

    I was right about Isaac.

Of course, his challengers haven't been much.

Isaac has been really good, and he has a low-key playing style that jibes with me.

It’s a good night to get FJ when none of the contestants do.

Isaac spit the bit on his FJ betting, the day after the player in second was wimpy on an $800 3rd DD bet which would have had her take the lead going into FJ (which turned out not to matter because she missed FJ while Isaac got it).

So dude last night answered a clue without saying, "what is?" - and Ken just gave it to him, with a warning.

Then, on a true Daily Double, he again answered without saying, "what is?" and Ken just let time run out, and pronounced his answer to be incorrect. Dude went down to zero.

Luckily for him, the other two contestants weren't very good.

The rule has been that a contestant is allowed to screw that up in the first round (at least the first time) but not in Double Jeopardy.

I'm not going to claim to be an expert in Jeopardy rules, although I watch practically every episode. I've never seen a contestant give the answer without shaping it in the form of a question, and the host say "correct" without prodding the contestant first.

Usually, Ken (or a prior host) would pause to let the contestant correct themselves and then say what Ken did. The timing here seemed a little awkward when I watched last night.
