EtH talked a great game, but his tactics just didn’t work.

The EPL plays winter matches in freaking England, which isn't exactly Miami in January.

    Get your butch on.

London average low in the winter is above freezing. The average high is high 40's. Boston is 5-10 degrees colder for both highs and lows.

You could ask those Hondurans who had to play that World Cup qualifier in St. Paul in February but I don’t think they’ve thawed out yet.

Incredibly petulant that RM boycotted the Ballon d’Or because they were told that Vini was not going to win.

I have mixed feelings about it. If they really believe Vini lost votes because of his anti-racism actions, then I can understand it. But if it's just "our guy didn't win, we ain't going," then you're absolutely correct.

Obviously, that not provable as no voters have (or would) explicitly say that. Vini is certainly the flashier player and had an outstanding year. But Rodri was fantastic, only lost the FA Cup final and won the Euros. Certainly a very defensible pick and not worth of a total team boycott.

Hence the mixed feelings on my part.
