I think this is the rare celebrity "push" or endorsement that could matter on the margins. As far as I can tell, he hasn't really been politically active, with the Post writing something about that in September. Unlike Taylor Swift, he's not the vanilla ice cream of music and seemingly doesn't have a fan base that was probably 99% in the ledger for Harris already.

It really is laughable how much run Biden's "garbage" line is getting, considering Trump, an actual Presidential candidate has dismissed large swaths of the electorate who don't vote for him. And yet that received minimal play. It was just Trump being Trump.
It also makes me wonder why Dem candidates routinely are "asked" to call out, rebuke or slam people in the course of their campaign. Clinton and Sister Soulja, Obama and Rev. Wright, Harris and Biden. I can't recall the last time a Republican candidate was met with calls to rebuke an ally or whatnot. Its really bizarre when you think about it. I don't know why the media does that. Is it merely to comfort easily offended white people in order to be considered electable?
