Ken Rosenthal has a pretty good column after G2 about how the Yankees really weren't very good.

    Yeah, seems it.

And the catcher didn't argue. That's the telltale sign. If you didn't touch the bat, you're not going to let a catcher's interference call stand. Certainly not in this game.

They rode two generational talents and a borderline hall of famer who got hot at the right time paired with last years Cy young winner gutting out a year when he wasn’t near 100 percent

NEW YORK -- Walker Buehler's day off turned into his most memorable night when he found himself on the mound in the bottom of the ninth of a clinching World Series game ...

    Dodgers clearly the best team.

Now fire up the hot stove. Mets, make Soto a blockbuster offer.

I love this for Michael Kopech. From the 2024 White Sox to a ring.

The Giants can sign Soto. Oh never mind.

That has to be the worst defensive performance in WS history.

    Baserunning, too.

This "I Love LA" credits ad from Nike is awesome. Wish it was longer.

Quite the turnaround for him — and he helped tonight with a shutout inning right before the Dodgers fifth-inning rally.

Also cool to see Teoscar Hernandez — who the Mariners decided they didn’t need — end up with a ring.

They missed the chance to show one of them celebrating on the ground to the "look at that bum over there man he's down on his knees" line

    Today was emotional.

My dad lost his brother and it's hitting him hard.

And just now we just watched the Dodgers win a World Series, as father and son in the same room, for the first time since 1981.

Moments after this photo he began talking about his brother, my uncle, with sad affection.

I told my dad I loved him for the first time in probably 30 years.
