A bit of NC news: No, Harris isn't pulling out of North Carolina

So, going into the final two days of in-person early voting, Democrats have momentum. African Americans are voting in increasingly large numbers and will close their gap by the end of early voting. Overall, Democrats will have more in-person early votes this year than in 2020 and are voting in larger numbers down the stretch than four years ago. As Dr. Bitzer showed yesterday, Republicans have more votes but they are also taking more votes away from their Election Day totals, indicating a change of behavior, not more motivation.

On Election Day, we’re going to see how well the GOTV programs work for both parties. Nobody has a clear advantage right now.

 

I feel like I'm the only person in my friend group who is actually voting on Nov. 5. Everyone else has early voted.

 

I'm no W. fan (but I'd take him over Trump 100 times out of 100), but it feels like a W-Michelle Obama barnstorm of the country this weekend could make a world of difference for Harris on Tuesday.

 

No kidding. What President of the U.S. talks like this? Who could possibly want this guy as President, no matter what their political/policy views? It's just unbelievable.

 

And they don't think/realize that Trump is an elite tyrant?

JD Vance was on Rogan yesterday explaining that the Iraq war was the worst mistake in the history of the country and the, "LIZ CHENEY IS A WAR MONGER!" thing is rooted firmly in, "HER DAD INVADED IRAQ!"

They were fine with W and Cheney when we were putting a boot in Iraq’s ass because it was the American Way. They were way less fine with it when their sons and daughters kept coming home in boxes from a war that continued to drag on with no real objective and THEN the value of their houses plunged to basically nothing because of banks that were too big to fail.

The Trump movement has zero to do with the traditional conservatism of the old-school GOP. It’s all about hate.

 

It's the one great part of the Trump movement - Conservatives and the GOP apparently telling the world, "OK so we were full of shit for a hundred years or so; sorry we got it so wrong, but this guy will totally make it all better!"

 

I'm going Tuesday too. I'm getting my sticker and my sucker. Plus, the olds who run my polling place are really nice.

 

I don't personally know him.
